Noube Productions Announces Brockton Premiere of Report Card: Danger of Failing, a Powerful Documentary on Urban Education

Brockton, MA — Noube Productions, the Emmy Award–winning production company, announces the Brockton premiere of its latest documentary, Report Card: Danger of Failing, a powerful, solution-focused examination of the ongoing crisis in urban education. Centering the voices that matter most—students, parents, and teachers—the film challenges audiences to confront systemic failures while exploring pathways toward meaningful change.

The premiere will take place on Saturday, February 28, at the Massasoit Student Center in Brockton, Massachusetts. Doors open at 12:30 PM, with the screening beginning promptly at 1:00 PM. Admission is free; registration is required. The event is open to the public.

Directed by Noube Rateau and William Medero, Report Card: Danger of Failing goes beyond statistics and headlines, offering an intimate and human look at how educational inequities impact real lives—and why urgent, grassroots-driven solutions are needed now.

The documentary highlights the stories of Luis Arriaza and Nyssa Lewis of Lynn Tech, two students pursuing careers in skilled trades while navigating complex family dynamics that fuel their determination to succeed. Former teacher and coach Willie Spears provides a powerful educator’s perspective, blending empathy with a call to accountability within the education system. The film also features commentary from Joe Pinion, political commentator for CNN and Fox News, alongside thought-provoking insights from Dr. Umar Johnson, among other notable voices.

The Brockton premiere will bring together educators, students, parents, advocates, community leaders, and media for an afternoon of impactful storytelling, reflection, and conversation aimed at inspiring action within and beyond the classroom.
